Gaylord Barkman

Gaylord and Celesta have been part of Christian Life since its beginning in 2002. As charter members, they have been deeply involved in the life and growth of the church. Gaylord served as Assistant Pastor until 2013, when they moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to serve with the Institute for Global Opportunities (IGO).

Since returning from Thailand, they have taken on the role of Family Life Pastors. Their ministry includes one-on-one counseling and mentoring, as well as teaching and preaching, with a heart to strengthen marriages and families through biblical guidance.

They are the proud parents of six children and grandparents to five grandchildren.
